Abraham was baptised on 26th December 1824 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone. In 1841 he was a Tailors Apprentice and resided with his mentor, Charles Hinchliffe, at Penistone. Abraham married Elizabeth Godley in the Hayfield & Glossop district in 1848 and had two children, Edwin & Emma. The family resided at Mariners Cottage, Hyde in 1851 and at Cross Lane, Gorton, Manchester between 1861 and 1881. He was a Tailor in 1851 and a Time Keeper at an Iron Works between 1861 & 1881. Abraham died in 1886 in the district of Chorlton.

The family resided at Station, Wickenby, Wragge, Lincolnshire in 1881, at South Cliff, Kirton in Lindsey, Glanford Brigg in 1891 and in 1901 at Ings Lane, Kirton in Lindsey, Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire. He was a Railway Porter in 1871 before becoming a Railway Station Master by 1881, in 1891 was a Book Keeper and between 1901 & 1911 was a Mercantile Clerk. He died in 1921 in the Glanford Brigg district, Lincolnshire.

The family resided at Haggs Hill, Alverthorpe, Wakefield in 1851, in 1861 at Law Street, Ossett cum Gawthorpe, at Shepherd Hill, Ossett cum Gawthorpe in 1871 and was a widow and Farming 14 Acres of Land between 1881 & 1891 at Wakefield Road, Osset cum Gawthorpe. Ann died in Ossett in 1894.

The family resided at Green Lane, Skelmanthorpe in 1851, in 1861 at Barnby Toll House, Cawthorne and at Ivydale, Cawthorne between 1871 and 1881. Ann died on 1st December 1885 in Cawthorne and is buried at All Saints Church, Cawthorne.

She was a Scholar at Home in 1851 and a Cotton Carder in 1861. Ann married Walter Radcliffe in 1868 at St Chad Church, Saddleworth and had seven children, Amelia Ann, John Charles, Minerva Jane, James Herbert, Joseph William, Mary Hannah & Ernest Percival. Between 1871 & 1881 the family resided at Roughtown, Saddleworth and in 1891 at 9, High Street, Saddleworth. They emigrated to America in 1892 on the ship Cephalonoa and stayed at 77, Eastern Avenue, Falls River, Massachusetts. Walter and Ann travelled back to England sometime between 1889 and 1891 with their youngest son , Ernest as they once again set off from Liverpool on 3rd November 1904 on the S.S. Cymric, arriving back in Boston on 12th November 1904. She died sometime between 1910 and 1920 in America.

She died on 24th August 1937 in Workington, Cumberland and is buried at Salterbeck Cemetery, Workington.

Ben married (1) Mary Kay on 23rd December 1867 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone and had one child, Wright. In 1871 they resided with his Widowed Mother at Gravels, Penistone. After the death of his first wife he married (2) Jane Thorpe )nee Hawley on 28th February 1881 at Netherfield Independent Church, Thurlstone. Between 1881 & 1891 they resided at Gravels Lane, Penistone.  He assisted his Mother with the Farm in 1871 but was a retired farmer between 1881 & 1891. Benjamin died on 1st April 1896 in the district of Wortley.

Between 1861 & 1871 the family resided in a Private House at Hoyland Nether and at 5, Pickles Square, Hoyland Nether in 1881. In 1851 he was a Charcoal Burner and was a Coal Miner between 1871 & 1881. Benjamin died on 19th June 1890 at Hoyland Common.

Benjamin was baptised at Midhope on 11th October 1835. Between 1841 & 1851 he was living with his grand oarents. In 1851 he was actually working at home, probably on his grandparents Farm. Benjamin was a Farmer when he married (1) Mary Anne Beever on 24th August 1857 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone. The family resided at Carr House, Thurlstone in 1861 with his Step Daughter Ann, at 76, Gate House, Wombwell in 1871 and in 1881 at Cat Hill, Hoylandswaine. After Mary's death in 1887 he married (2) Eliza Ann Worsley nee Jubb on 22nd June 1891 at Thurlstone. They resided at Stocksbridge in 1901 but by 1911 he was widowed again and went back to live at Cathill, Hoylandswaine. Benjamin was a Stone Quarry Labourer in 1861, a Platelayer in 1871, a Railway Labourer in 1881, a General Labourer in 1901 and was listed as a former Steel Works Labourer in 1911. He died in 1921 in the district of Ashton.

He was a Painter by trade when he drowned on 30th May 1933 at Fall River, Massachusetts. Ben and his wife resided at Morton Street, Mechanicsville, Fall River, Massachusetts at the time.

Charles died in 1902 in Barnsley, Yorkshire.

George was a Student at Wesleyan School, Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield, Yorkshire in 1841 and was an Agricultural Labourer in 1851 at Shelley. In 1855 he emigrated to Wisconsin, America from Liverpool on the ship James Foster Jr arriving at New York on 17th April 1855. George married Mary Cooper in Jefferson County, Wisconsin in 1859 and had one child, Ann. On 17th November 1869 at Dane County, Wisconsin, he married (2) Ellen Calder and had another six children, Thomas P, Mary Dunbar, George Henry, Emma E, Beulah H & Percy W. He died on 31st March 1917 at Pensacola, Florida and on 3rd April 1918 was buried at Albion Prairie Cemetery, Albion, Dane, Wisconsin. Between 1851 & 1870 he was a Farm Labourer.

The family resided at Cubley, Penistone in 1861, at Rock Side, Thurlstone, Penistone in 1871 and at The Nook, Penistone between 1881 & 1911. George was a Stone Mason between 1851 & 1901. In 1881 he was also Farming 6 Acres of Land and when he retired continued Farming until at least 1911. He died in 1917 at Penistone.
