Abraham was baptised on 26th December 1824 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone. In 1841 he was a Tailors Apprentice and resided with his mentor, Charles Hinchliffe, at Penistone. Abraham married Elizabeth Godley in the Hayfield & Glossop district in 1848 and had two children, Edwin & Emma. The family resided at Mariners Cottage, Hyde in 1851 and at Cross Lane, Gorton, Manchester between 1861 and 1881. He was a Tailor in 1851 and a Time Keeper at an Iron Works between 1861 & 1881. Abraham died in 1886 in the district of Chorlton.

In 1861 he was a Scholar.  Abraham married Alice Poles in 1878 in the district of Barnsley and had ten children, Mary Alice, Edith Ellen, Florence Elsie Gertrude Mabel Josephine, Emily Winifred, Leonard, Ida May, Lancelot, Hedley Clifford & Wilfred. The family resided at Station, Wickenby, Wragge, Lincolnshire in 1881, at South Cliff, Kirton in Lindsey, Glanford Brigg in 1891 and in 1901 at Ings Lane, Kirton in Lindsey, Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire. He was a Railway Porter in 1871 before becoming a Railway Station Master by 1881, in 1891 was a Book Keeper and between 1901 & 1911 was a Mercantile Clerk. He died in 1921 in the Glanford Brigg district, Lincolnshire.

The family resided at Haggs Hill, Alverthorpe, Wakefield in 1851, in 1861 at Law Street, Ossett cum Gawthorpe, at Shepherd Hill, Ossett cum Gawthorpe in 1871 and was a widow and Farming 14 Acres of Land between 1881 & 1891 at Wakefield Road, Osset cum Gawthorpe. Ann died in Ossett in 1894.

Ann married John Blacker on 25th December 1843 at St Michael the Archangel, Emley and had seven children, Thomas Silverwood, William, Elizabeth, John Henry, Frederick, Sarah Ann & Annie. The family resided at Green Lane, Skelmanthorpe in 1851, in 1861 at Barnby Toll House, Cawthorne and at Ivydale, Cawthorne between 1871 and 1881. Ann died on 1st December 1885 in Cawthorne and is buried at All Saints Church, Cawthorne.

She was a Scholar at Home in 1851 and a Cotton Carder in 1861. Ann married Walter Radcliffe in 1868 at St Chad Church, Saddleworth and had seven children, Amelia Ann, John Charles, Minerva Jane, James Herbert, Joseph William, Mary Hannah & Ernest Percival. Between 1871 & 1881 the family resided at Roughtown, Saddleworth and in 1891 at 9, High Street, Saddleworth. They emigrated to America in 1892 on the ship Cephalonoa and stayed at 77, Eastern Avenue, Falls River, Massachusetts. Walter and Ann travelled back to England sometime between 1889 and 1891 with their youngest son , Ernest as they once again set off from Liverpool on 3rd November 1904 on the S.S. Cymric, arriving back in Boston on 12th November 1904. She died sometime between 1910 and 1920 in America.

They resided with her Parents at Britannia Hotel, Spring Vale, Penistonein 1871, at Spring Vale, Penistonein 1881, in 1891 she was a widow residing at Roughbirchworth, Oxspring and was still a widow in 1901 residing at Spring Gardens, Penistone.

The family resided at Shetford Road, Urmston, Barton Upon Orrell, Lancashire in 1881 and in 1891 back her her Widowed Father at Town End, Shelley where she was now a Widow and House Keeper. She died in 1900 the district of Barton.

She was a Mill Hand in 1871. Annie married John Braithwaite at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone on 6th October 1873 and had five children, Gertrude, Edith, Ernest, Clara & John Clement. The family resided at Post Office Lane, Dronfield in 1881, in 1891 at 16, Ropers Terrace, Workington and at 325, Snapes Row, Workington in 1901 and in 1911 at 325, Moss Road, Workington, Cockermouth, Cumberland. She died on 24th August 1937 in Workington, Cumberland and is buried at Salterbeck Cemetery, Workington.

In 1891 the family resided at The Clough, Bradfield and between 1901 & 1911 at 9, Haywood Park, Deepcar, Bradfield, Stocksbridge.

Ben married (1) Mary Kay on 23rd December 1867 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone and had one child, Wright. In 1871 they resided with his Widowed Mother at Gravels, Penistone. After the death of his first wife he married (2) Jane Thorpe )nee Hawley on 28th February 1881 at Netherfield Independent Church, Thurlstone. Between 1881 & 1891 they resided at Gravels Lane, Penistone.  He assisted his Mother with the Farm in 1871 but was a retired farmer between 1881 & 1891. Benjamin died on 1st April 1896 in the district of Wortley.

Benjamin married Sarah Armitage on 13th November 1854 at St Michael the Archangel, Emley and had four children, Harriet, Mary, Henry Cornelius, Isaac. Between 1861 & 1871 the family resided in a Private House at Hoyland Nether and at 5, Pickles Square, Hoyland Nether in 1881. In 1851 he was a Charcoal Burner and was a Coal Miner between 1871 & 1881. Benjamin died on 19th June 1890 at Hoyland Common.

Benjamin was baptised at Midhope on 11th October 1835. Between 1841 & 1851 he was living with his grand oarents. In 1851 he was actually working at home, probably on his grandparents Farm. Benjamin was a Farmer when he married (1) Mary Anne Beever on 24th August 1857 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone. The family resided at Carr House, Thurlstone in 1861 with his Step Daughter Ann, at 76, Gate House, Wombwell in 1871 and in 1881 at Cat Hill, Hoylandswaine. After Mary's death in 1887 he married (2) Eliza Ann Worsley nee Jubb on 22nd June 1891 at Thurlstone. They resided at Stocksbridge in 1901 but by 1911 he was widowed again and went back to live at Cathill, Hoylandswaine. Benjamin was a Stone Quarry Labourer in 1861, a Platelayer in 1871, a Railway Labourer in 1881, a General Labourer in 1901 and was listed as a former Steel Works Labourer in 1911. He died in 1921 in the district of Ashton.

The family emigrated from Liverpool on the S. S. Ohio arriving at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, America on 24th December 1881. He was a Painter by trade when he drowned on 30th May 1933 at Fall River, Massachusetts. Ben and his wife resided at Morton Street, Mechanicsville, Fall River, Massachusetts at the time.

Benjamin married Emma Kenworthy in 1898 in the district of Doncaster. In 1881 he was a Colliery Clerk. Benjamin died in 1935 in Penistone and on 15th November 1935 was buried at All Saints Church, Cawthorne, Barnsley, Yorkshire.

In 1851 the family resided at Ushers, Wortley and between 1861 & 1871 at Panbry Lane, Worsbrough but he was a Widower between 1881 & 1901 living at 2, Green Street, Worsbrough. Charles was a Labourer at a Chemistry Works in 1851, an Agricultural Labourer in 1861, in 1871 was a Boiler Maker's Labourer, a General Labourer in 1881 and a Coal Leader in 1891 but was Living on his Own Means in 1901. Charles died in 1902 in Barnsley, Yorkshire.

The family resided at Valley Top, Shepley in 1841, in 1851 in the Village of Shepley , at Hill Top, Shepley in 1861 and between 1871 & 1881 at Green Side Row, Shepley, Kirkburton. Elizabeth died in 1886 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.

The family resided at Hunshelf Bank, Hunshelf, Penistone in 1861 and at 259, Primrose Hill, Almondbury, Huddersfield between 1871 & 1881. Ellen died in 1881 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.

Ernest was a Commercial Traveller in 1891, a Cotton Yarn Salesman in 1901 and in 1911 was a Commercial Traveller of Wines Etc.

The family resided at 16, Green Lane, Cumberworth in 1861, at Barrow Stead, Cumberworth in 1871, at Gatehouse, Paris, Cartworth in 1881, in 1891 at Hill Top Road, Clayton West, at Crown Terrace, Skelmanthorpe in 1901 and in 1911 at Cuttlehurst, Scissett, High Hoyland, West Clayton although now widowed. She died on 1st August 1913 at Cuttlehurst, Clayton West and is buried at High Hoyland.

George was a Student at Wesleyan School, Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield, Yorkshire in 1841 and was an Agricultural Labourer in 1851 at Shelley. In 1855 he emigrated to Wisconsin, America from Liverpool on the ship James Foster Jr arriving at New York on 17th April 1855. George married Mary Cooper in Jefferson County, Wisconsin in 1859 and had one child, Ann. On 17th November 1869 at Dane County, Wisconsin, he married (2) Ellen Calder and had another six children, Thomas P, Mary Dunbar, George Henry, Emma E, Beulah H & Percy W. He died on 31st March 1917 at Pensacola, Florida and on 3rd April 1918 was buried at Albion Prairie Cemetery, Albion, Dane, Wisconsin. Between 1851 & 1870 he was a Farm Labourer.

In 1881 he was also Farming 6 Acres of Land and when he retired continued Farming until at least 1911. He died in 1917 at Penistone.

Hannah died on 21st January 1904 in the Wakefield, Yorkshire.

Hannah already had a child, William SILVERWOOD, when she married Benjamin Woodhead on 29th May 1854 at St John The Baptist Church, Penistone and had another five children, Mary Ann, Grace, Ann, Jont & Sarah Dyson. In 1861 the family resided at Red Lane, Meltham, Huddersfield and at Whitehead Lane, Almondbury in 1881 where she was a Widow and a Domestic House Keeper. Hannah was Living on her own means in 1891 and resided with her Daughter and Son in Law at Market Place, Meltham, Colne Valley.

Hannah married Benjamin Beever at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone on 28th June 1869 and had two children, Lucy & Florence. The family resided at Thurlstone Bank ,Thurlstone in 1871. Hannah died in 1880 in the Wortley district

Hannah married Frank Hampshaw in 1866 in the district of Huddersfield and had four children, Silverwood, William, George & Job. Between 1871 and 1891 the family resided at 4, Tinker, Scholes, Wooldale but she was widowed by 1891. In 1901 she resided with her son, William and his family at Park Side, Scholes, Holmfirth but in 1911 they had all relocated to Carlecotes, Dunford Bridge, Thurlstone, Penistone, Yorkshire.

Harriet married Andrew Peel in Huddersfield, Yorkshire in 1862 and had two children, Willie & Ada Ellen. The family resided at 90, Pilley Colliery, Tankersley, Wortley, Yorkshire in 1881.

The family resided at Whitwell, Bradfield in 1861 and in 1871 at Stocksbridge. She married (2) George Cox in the district of Wortley in 1876 and had another child, Amon. The family resided at Stone Row, Hoyland Nether in 1881, in 1891 at 10, Queen Street, Hoyland Nether and at 19, Queen Street, Hoyland Nether in 1901.

She was a Cotton Carder in 1861. Harriet married Joseph Hoyle in 1872 in the district of Ashton and had one child, Mary. In 1881 she was a Widow residing back with her parents at Roughtown, Saddleworth but in 1911 lived with her older brother, Joseph at 30, Roughtown, Mossley, Ashton Under Lyne.

In 1851 he was a Hand Loom Weaver of Fancy Vestings and a Coke Burner in 1861. Henry died in 1876 at Wortley Road.

Henry was baptised at Kirkburton on 26th December 1849. Henry married Emma Goddard in the district of Huddersfield in 1874 and had three children, Arthur, Herbert & Hubert. The family resided at Old Hey Moorhouse, Shepley between 1881 & 1891 and at Far Bank, Shelley between 1901 & 1911. Between 1861 & 1871 he was a Coal Miner and was a Railway Signalman between 1881 & 1911. He died on 3rd March 1823 in the district of Huddersfield and on 7th March 1923 was buried at Shelley Parish Church.

The family resided at Seel Street, Mossley, Ashton under Lyne in 1881, at 7, Stamfar Street, Mossley, Ashton under Lyne in 1891 and between 1901 & 1911 at 33, Brunswick Street, Mossley, Ashton under Lyne. He was a Cotton Spinner between 1881 & 1911. He died in 1934 in the district of Ashton.

Isaac was a Scholar in 1861, in 1871 he was a Steel Rod Roller, was a General Labourer in 1881, in 1891 he was a Farm Labourer and in 1901 was back again as a General Labourer. Isaac died in the district of Nottingham in 1910.
