George had a child, William with his future wife before he married Rachel Rayner at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone on 5th January 1835. They had another four children, William, Joseph, Male & Joshua. Between 1841 & 1851 the family resided at Hill Side, Thurlstone, in 1861 at Syke Lane, Thurlstone and was a widower at Syke Bridge, Thurlstone in 1871. He was a Clothier in 1841 and a Woolen Weaver between 1851 & 1871. George died in 1875 in the district of Wortley.

Between 1841 and 1871 the family resided at Scholes Moor, Wooldale. He was a Woollen Cloth Maker in 1841, a Woollen Weaver in 1851, a Farmer of 12 Acres in 1861 and a Labourer in 1871. George died in 1875 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire and was buried at Holy Trinity Church, Hepworth on 27th December 1875.

George married Martha Holden on 25th August 1842 at Kirkburton Parish Church and had ten children, Joseph, Benjamin, Harriet, Henry, Hubert, Selina, Grace, Martha Ann, Sarah & George. In 1851 the family resided with his mother at Greenhouse, Shelley but after her death continued to live there until at least 1881. In 1851 he was now working the 40 acre farm with his mother, as an Agricultural Labourer but after she died took over the running of the farm and became a Farmer of 40 Acres until he died in 1889. He died on 12th June 1889 at Shelley and on 15th June 1889 was buried at Shelley.

On 11th April 1855 at Thornhill by Dewsbury she married (2) Jabez Booth and had another three children, Elizabeth Ann, Betheul & John. In 1861 the family resided at Wood Nook, Shelley and between 1871 and181 resided at Town End, Shelley.She died on 6th May 1885 and on 6th May 1885 was buried at Kirkburton.

In 1841 she was a Female Servant in the Village of Upper Midhope, Penistone alongside her future husband. Harriet married David Marsh in 1841 in the district of Wortley and had another seven children, Matthew, Hannah, Emma, Joseph, Isaac, Ann & Sarah A. In 1851 the family resided at Royd, Bradfield, at Bolsterstone, Bradfield in 1861, in 1881 the family resided at Deepcar Village, Bradfield where she was now a widow but in 1891 she was living on her own means at Manchester Road, Deepcar. Harriet died in 1899 in the district of Wortley.

Henry married Hannah Bedford in 1850 in the district of Huddersfield on 24th March 1823 and had nine children, Sarah, Ann, Joseph, Matthew Henry, William Bedford, Lilian, Herbert, Ernest & Ethel Mary. In 1851 he and his wife were residing at Barkhouse, Shelley with his father & several Nephews and Nieces but between 1861 and 1891 the family were residing at Town End, Shelley. Henry was a Grocer and Draper in 1851 but between 1861 & 1891 had expanded to become a Shopkeeper and Postmaster. He died on 6th September 1894 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire and on 9 September 1894 was buried at Kirkburton, All Hallows.

In 1851 Tim was living with his brother at Huddersfield Road, Upperthong but he and Mary resided at Bump Hall, Hoylandswaine between 1861 & 1891. Timothy was a Farm Labourer in 1851 and a Farmer between 1861 & 1891. Timothy died in 1893 at Wortley Road and on 17th January 1893 was buried at All Saints Church, Cawthorne, Barnsley, Yorkshire.

John was obviously called Beaumont but his name varied (as did that of his children between Beaumont and Walshaw). Mary Beaumont/Walshaw married John Robinson (and took in her nephew Joseph Silverwood #4726 after his mother's death). She was baptised on 13th April 1809 at All Saints Church, Silkstone. Martha married Benjamin Silverwood on 9th April 1828 at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone and had five children, Mary, Job, Martha, Benjamin & Joseph. Martha died on 12th April 1837 and is buried at St John the Baptist Church, Penistone. On her gravestone is the rhyme "Husband farewell I'm gone before, My love to you can be no more, No grief or sorrow for me make, But love my Children for my sake"
