Anne was baptised at St Peter Church, Tankersley on 22nd November 1857. She married Evan Samuel Jones on 29th March 1880 at Wath Upon Dearne Parish Church and they had nine children, Anne, Charles, Mary, Harriet, Hannah, Frank, Ellen, Arthur,& Frederick. In 1881 the family lived at Warburton Houses, Wath on Dearne and in 1901 at 31, Beaumont Street, Hoyland Nether.
