Between 1889 & 1893 they resided at 104, Darlington Street East, Wigan and at 135, Billinge Road, Pemberton between 1898 & 1911. Mary died in 1937 in Pemberton.

Adin Briggs and Susanna Cottle lived for a time at or in the town of Industry east of Farmington and also in or near Starks and Anson, Maine, in Somerset County. After the lapse of some years they moved to a stony farm, on top of a high hill/mountain in Lexington/Highland Township, about 25 miles northeast of Farmington. The mountain top is still known and shown on maps as "Briggs Hill". It is apparently about 2000 feet above sea level and towers about 1500 feet above the Sandy River Valley, which lies west of the hill. Briggs Hill, while located in the extreme southeast corner of Highland Township, seems to run across the township line south into Lexington Twp. so the Briggs farm may have been in Lexington Twp

Ruth married Robert Turner and had three children, Ellen, James & John. The family resided at Shevington in 1871 but at Princess Street, Shevington in 1881. She was a Coal Filler in 1851 and a Grocers Wife in 1881.

Born : Standish, Wigan, Lancashire (Jan 1838 - Mar 1838)

Spence married Margaret Halliwell in the district of Wigan in 1860 and had nine children, Ellis, Esther, Enoch, Levi, Stephen, Josiah, Ruth, Maria & Spence.  In 1861 the family resided at Holland Colly Cottage, Upholland and in 1871 at Moor Street, Cornforth, Lancashire, in 1881 had moved to West Roddymoor, Crook & Billy Row, Durham but in 1891 had moved back to 86, Castle Hill, Hindley, Ince in Makerfield, Lancashire. In 1901 he was a widower living with his daughter Maria and her husband at 121, Wigan Road, Hindley, Lancashire and also in 1911 at 105, Wigan Road, Hindley. He was a Coal Miner between 1851 & 1891 but was Living on his own means in 1901.
