Peter married Elizabeth Kershaw in 1873 in the district of Leigh and had six children, Margaret Ann KERSHAW, Alice, Annie, Peter, Lilian & George. The family resided at 58, Manchester Road, Tyldesley in 1881. After the death of Elizabeth he married (2) Alice Ann D Bleakley in Q2, Leigh district, b 1858, Tyldesley. They had a child, Beatrice, b 1890, Tyldesley. In 1891 the family resided at 166, Elliot Street Beer House, Tyldesley. He was Coal Miner between 1861 & 1881 but a Beer Seller in 1891. Peter died in 1894 in Tyldesley.

The family emigrated to Canada in 1905 and settled in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Novia Scotia. For some reason he started calling himself Alfred whilst in Canada.

Thomas married Ann Kershaw in 1880 in the district of Leigh and had eight children, George Kershaw, James, Alice, Betsy, Mary, Helen, Thomas & William. The family resided at the White Horse Inn, Elliot Street, Tyldesley between 1881 & 1901 and in 1911 at 127, Elliott Street, Tyldesley. He was a Coal Miner in 1871 but by 1881 he had become the Licensee of the White Horse Inn and was a Beer Seller until at least 1911. Thomas had a bad fall in 1924 at the top of Astley Street, Tyldesley. His sister in law, Hannah Elizabeth Williams took him in and he died at her home in 1924.

He died just before the 1911 census.

He was brought up by his grandparents Anthony and Elizabeth as Mary their daughter and mother of Anthony died when 26 yrs old in West Rainton, so although he was born a Worthington he was brought up as a Calvert, hence he kept changing his surname. In 1881 he resided with his grandparents at 18, Margaret Street, Brandon & Byshottles, Durham and also with them in 1891 at Front Double Row, Coxhoe, Durham where he was a Screener at a Coal Mine. Anthony married Alice Winstanley on 28th May 1898 at Durham City Register Office. They had nine children, Anthony, Mary Alice, John William, Abraham, Elizabeth Ann, James, Edward, Florence May & Joseph. In 1901 the family resided at Shadforth Terrace, Shadforth, Ludworth, Durham and at 21, Annie Wheatley Hill, Wingate, Easington, Durham in 1911. After the death of Alice he married (2) Polly Gray in 1933 in Easington, Durham and had another two children, Henry & Robert. In 1939 they resided at 15, Henderson Avenue, Easington, Durham. Anthony was a Stone Mason down the Coal Mine at the time but was just listed as a Coal Miner in 1911 and as a retired Coal Miner in 1939. Anthony died on 18 December 1947 at 15, Henderson Avenue, Wheatley Hill, Durham and was buried at Wheatley Hill Cemetery, Durham.
