She was a Scholar between 1861 & 1871. Ann married Samuel Charles Tapper in 1878 in Stourpaine Dorset and had ten children, Harriet Jane, Louisa, Selina Caroline, Florence, Lilian, Charles Joseph, Harold Joseph, Frederick Joseph, Albert Joseph & Richard. They were visiting his parents in 1881 at Main Road, Winterborne Clenstone, Blandford, Dorset, in 1891 resided at Iron Gates, East Lulworth, Wareham, Dorset and in 1911 at Turnpike, Stourpaine, Blandford, Dorset, although she was now a widow.

In 1851 the family resided at Heelis Street, Barnsley, in 1861 at 4, Court 2, Pall Mall, Barnsley, in 1863 at 3, Court 2, Speddings Fold, Barnsley and between 1871 & 1881 at 37, Parker Street, Barnsley. He was a Linen Weaver between 1851 & 1863 and a Turner in a Factory in 1871. William died in 1879 in the district of Barnsley.
