Enoch married (1) Charlotte Ann Bedford on 14th May 1894 at St Paul Church, Barnsley, Yorkshire and had six children, Ann, Evan, Lloyd, John, Maurice & Evelyn. Enoch was living at 20, New Lane, Smithies when he married (2) Sarah Elizabeth Scrivens nee Jessop on 22nd July 1935 in St Paul Church, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. They resided at Swaithe Hale Lodge, Worsbrough, Barnsley in 1939 and in 1957 was at 7, Monsal Crescent, Athersley, Barnsley. He was a Colliery Labourer in 1901, a Colliery Shot Firer in 1911 but was retired by 1933 then in 1939 he was a Private Gardener. Enoch died in 1957 at home and was buried on 13th June 1957 at Monk Bretton Cemetery, Barnsley. |
