Father : Adam de Hamerton Mother : Katherine de Knoll Born : Hamerton Hall, Slaidburn, Yorkshire (1356) Richard married Elizabeth Radcliff in 1376 and had a son, Laurence. He was the Lord of Hamerton, Knolsmere, Wigglesworth and Hellifield Peel. The marriage also added the Manor of Langfield near Halifax to the estate, together with a third of the Manors of Rishworth, Bottomley, Barkisland and Scammonden in the area. |
